About The Event
Join us for our annual family-friendly event to celebrate Canada Day in Columbia Valley. Admission is free, and all are welcome!
🐎 Parade starts at 11:00 AM on our regular route.
Details: Parade line up is at 10:30 AM @ 1000 Columbia Valley HWY for those who would like to participate.
Judging will take place from 11 AM – 12:15 PM.
This year's categories include: best presented vehicle, best presented horse, best presented float, best presented bike, best novelty, and best effort.
🌭 Food to follow the parade.
Details: We will be grilling up summer favourites, plus an assortment of concession items. Debit and cash payments will be accepted. Bring a chair or a blanket and have a picnic.
🏎️ Soap Box Derby starts at 1 PM. We are celebrating 20 years of the soapbox derby!
Build a kart! The more crazy and creative the better! Just make sure it has some kind of braking mechanism. Sorry no community kart this year!
Registration will take place after the parade on July 1st. Please be ready to sign a waiver. If you are under age 19 make sure you have an adult available to sign for you. $10 entrance fee. Racers must have a helmet and closed in shoes. Please ensure you have a team to help push your kart to the top of the hill. Full details HERE.
